BOOK TREATMENTS IN ADVANCE! We recommend ordering treatments when you book your room, or at least before arrival, to ensure we can accommodate your preferences in terms of treatments, scheduling and therapists. Confirmation of your appointment(s) will be provided at the hotel reception desk on arrival. If you would like to schedule an appointment for a follow-up treatment session, just let us know at the spa/wellness reception desk or outside opening hours we can help at the hotel reception desk.
TAKE YOUR TIME. To ensure you’re relaxed at the beginning of your appointment, please arrive at the Alpenwelt Wellness & Spa area 5 minutes before your treatment session is due to commence. The waiting area is outside the treatment rooms. Feel free to pour yourself a cup of tea to get in the mood for your well-being or beauty session. For the sake of guests scheduled after your appointment, please note that any treatment time lost if you arrive late cannot be added on at the end. Thank you!
CLOTHING. Please come to your appointment in a bathrobe. In order to obscure intimate areas of the body during the session you will be suitably covered. We can also supply disposable underpants.
COMMUNICATION. Treatment should be closely tailored to your needs, so before each treatment session commences your specialist will ask what precisely you would like to focus on during the session in order to fine-tune the treatment to your wishes and requirements. Please remember to inform your therapist about any health conditions which may cause certain treatments to be unsuitable. Feel free to let our therapists and masseurs know your exact needs and preferences, whether the massage should be firm or gentle, whether you require a second towel or would like to change the lighting, heat settings or background music. Communication is the key to ensuring exactly the treatment you need. Of course, we completely respect your rights to privacy and confidentiality, and take the principles of the GDPR very seriously.
SHOWERING AND PREPARING FOR TREATMENT. A relaxing warm shower before treatment removes skin flakes and prepares the skin ideally for the application of massage creams and oils. We only use-superior-quality products for treatments. These provide the greatest degree of care and relaxation when applied to the skin.
FOR WOMEN WE RECOMMEND you refrain from depilation prior to a body peeling treatment. We advise subjects with sunburn against undergoing peeling treatments. Pregnant women should consult our spa team to identify treatments to be considered or excluded.
FOR MEN WE RECOMMEND shaving your facial stubble prior to a facial treatment to maximise the care and beneficial effects of the treatment.
CANCELLATIONS AND PROBLEMS. Please cancel your appointment at least 24 hours prior to the agreed treatment time, otherwise we will be forced to charge you the full price.
OPENING TIMES. Treatments (beauty, massages and body applications) can be scheduled at any time of day between 8.30am and 7.30pm.
THE SPA IS FOR ALL GUESTS TO ENJOY! MOBILES & TABLETS etc. In order to ensure guests enjoy the peace and quiet they are seeking, no mobile phones or tablets should be brought to, or used in, the Alpenwelt Spa. E-book readers are permitted.
JUNIOR GUESTS & ALPI’S SPA. The treatment areas and saunas at Alpenwelt Spa are peaceful and relaxing places. We hope you understand that only children age 12 years and up are permitted to access these areas in the opening hours after 2pm, unless registered for a visit during family sauna hours. Bookings for Alpi’s Spa applications can be scheduled between 9pm and 2pm and the treatments are tailored to the needs of children aged 4 to 10. A parent is not required to be present, but parents are encouraged to accompany kids and welcome at any time.
POOL & SAUNA AREAS. Please wear swimwear in the pool area. For reasons of hygiene, we ask you not to wear swimwear in the sauna area.
SAUNA AND HAND-TOWELS. We have filled and placed a wellness and spa basket in your room. This includes towels for the pool and saunas. The hammam towels, found at the entrance to the saunas, are also referred to as pestemals, and are a legacy of Oriental bathing culture. They are used by men and women to maintain privacy and modesty in steam baths and saunas.
FOOD AND DRINKS. The bar with teas and vitamins is located in the waiting area of the Alpenwelt Wellness & Spa. We politely ask you to refrain from consuming any other food or drinks in the pool, spa and wellness facilities. Thank you. Feel free to consume your healthy snacks or enjoy the afternoon cake, coffee and tea buffet in the s’Nestl area behind the buffet – where you are welcome to wear your bathrobes during the day.
